Why Nature School?
A unique nature-inspired preschool dedicated to providing children with authentic experiences that cultivate connections to nature and themselves.
Nurturing the whole child through elements of forest school, Montessori, and other pedagogies, with a focus on nature, nutrition, independence, a sense of curiosity, exploration, and free play.
Our Programs
Nature Casa
For children aged 2.5 to 6 years, the Nature Casa program blends the Montessori method with outdoor exploration. Children spend generous amounts of time outdoors observing seasonal changes, investigating wildlife, and engaging in group play. Balanced with practical life, hands-on learning, French, Music and creative Art activities.
Summer Camp
During the summer months, this summer program is open to children aged 3 to 7. It involves week-long adventures filled with nature-based exploration, creative arts, and teamwork.
Parent & Child Program
This program fosters early childhood development by offering parents and their children opportunities to explore nature together.

Our Nature-Inspired Pedagogy
At Westdale Nature School, our philosophy is built on years of observations and experience nurturing children’s curiosity through a nature-inspired Montessori approach. We believe every child is a unique learner; some thrive visually, others through auditory, read/write, or kinesthetic experiences. We recognize that the outdoor environment naturally embraces and nourishes all these learning styles, while our warm and inviting indoor spaces are thoughtfully designed to support diverse approaches to learning.
